Insurance Inspections

4 Point Inspection, Wind Mitigation Inspection, Roof Certifications.

Wind Mitigation (Insurance) – Florida law allows you to have a wind mitigation completed (Insurance Form including certain construction-related attributes) of the home. The wind mitigation inspects and verifies the roof geometry / shape(s), type of roof/Truss attachment(s) to the structure, roof covering material and attachment methods, windows and doors. The submission of this certified Form can reduce (allowing for certain criteria and credits) the wind portion of your insurance premium.

4 Point (Insurance) Inspections – Most insurance companies require a Four Point inspection to be completed on homes that are at or near 30 years and older. The 4 point insurance inspection includes both the verification of any updates and the condition of roof covering(s), electrical system(s), plumbing and HVAC equipment. This inspection, along with the required certified Form(s) is not intended to take the place of a full home inspection.
